About the Counselor

My name is Craig Miller.   I deliver classroom guidance lessons for all grades as well as small group and individual counseling for students who encounter challenges that impact upon their school and life experiences.  I am a PTO Liaison and Diversity Committee member.  I believe that it is the school counselor’s responsibility to help children overcome obstacles which may be preventing them from fulfilling their potential.  I always tell students that I am not here to solve their problems but rather, I am here to help them solve their problems.  The best way to achieve this is through proactive prevention and  by working directly with students as well as consulting with parents, teachers and other interested parties.

A little bit about me: I am originally from Montclair, New Jersey.  I am married with 2 children.  I worked for many years as a family portrait photographer.   Prior to accepting this position in Council Rock, I worked as a school counselor in Williamsburg, VA and Philadelphia, PA.  I received my undergraduate degree in music and liberal arts from the University of Mass.  I have a Master's degree in School Counseling from the College of William and Mary.  I love helping kids.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, suggestions or concerns you may have.

Thank you.
