Primary Services

A comprehensive school counseling program is made up of a combination of four types of primary services:  curriculum, individual planning, responsive services, and system support.  Below are listed the primary services offered by the Elementary School Counselor Counselor:
  • Implement effective classroom lessons focusing on relevant topics

  • Provide individual and small group counseling

  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents

  • Coordinate appropriate referrals to outside services within the school and community

  • Crisis intervention
