SHOW WEEK: January 26 to January 31, 2026
AUDITION/REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
FULL ENSEMBLE—Full Ensemble performs all of their roles together in a group and never speaks or sings solo. Full Ensemble also attends rehearsal on a more limited basis, though it is certainly still a commitment. Full Ensemble attends rehearsals when the schedule says “ALL CAST.”
NAMED ROLES—All other roles attend rehearsal when their role is scheduled to attend. They also attend when the schedule says “ALL CAST.” Every actor in the show attends when it says “ALL CAST.”
ON-STAGE STAGE CREW—If your child would like to be a part of the on-stage Stage Crew (moving scenery, setting the stage, etc.) they will also need to be in the Ensemble. If we have too many interested in this role, 6th Graders will get first preference. If we still have too many interested, I will choose names at random. Students not chosen for this crew will still be part of the Ensemble. This role will attend rehearsal when it says “ALL CAST.”
TECH (lighting) CREW—If your child would like to be on the Tech Crew for the show, that registration will happen in December. Tech Crew is required to attend when the schedule says “+ CREW.” Only 4-6 students are needed for this crew. 6th Graders do get first preference and if there are too many applicants, we will choose names at random. If you would like to be in the show and only apply for the Tech Crew, there IS a chance that you will not be involved with the show at all.

Audition Workshop: Monday, October 6 (4:00-5:15pm, SFE Music Room)
Members of the CR-North theater group, Sock n' Buskin, will be coming to SFE to give our students some extra help on their auditions.
This workshop will be held in the Music Room(s) at SFE. Students will remain in their homerooms until the last bus has been called. Students will then report to the Music Room for the workshop. Pickup from the workshop will be at the Car Rider entrance to the school at 5:15. Please park your car and walk up to the building the retrieve your child/carpool. Dismissal from this workshop will run exactly how we run it for after-school rehearsals.
